sunshine . . .
it's amazing what sunshine does for the soul. i think living in canada, we really feel that every spring when finally the grey skies turn into sunshine. though i haven't experienced it the canadian melting of winter way for a few years now, i feel it here. living on the ship can feel dark at times, even when you're feeling okay.
but then you get out in the sunshine and you're different.
i love key west. i love the sun. i love free internet. i love cheap mango daquiris. i love key lime pie, key lime pie dipped in chocolate on a stick, key lime cookies, key lime marinades, key lime everything. but especially key lime pie.
i love when i think of the possibility of one of the most exciting reunions i may ever experience. could it really be? could he really be on his way here?

i keep telling myself to not worry about the details, that the universe takes care of those for me. meanwhile, focus on the good around me. like the sunshine.
