Where on earth are you, Caitlin? You are not on third, second or basement floors, nor do you answer your cell phone. o.0
Now, a cauliflower recipe:
1 cauliflower
1 inch ginger, finely chopped (and.. peeled? is that the word?)
1 onion, finely chopped
1t mustard seeds (black! yellow doesnt work)
1t turmeric
Salt (some)
1t cumin
2T ghee or vegetable oil
1t sugar
2 tomatoes, skinned and finely chopped (or if you're me.. half a tin of chopped tomatoes)
-Cut the cauliflower into small florets, discarding the hard stem and leaf-bits. Wash and leave to dry.
-Heat the ghee in a wok or similar. Fry the mustard seeds. When they start to pop, add the ginger, onion, turmeric, salt and cumin. Fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
-Add the cauliflower florets. Stir to coat in the spice mixture.
-Add the tomatoes and sugar. Stir. Leave, covered, on a low heat, for ~15 minutes.
-Uncover and leave on a higher heat for about 2 minutes to let the sauce thicken. At this point I added a bunch of cooked rice. You don't have to do that, though.
Delicious!
