I'd feel guilty but...
So.. for the last two days our kids have gotten home and ds#1 has wanted to sit in front of the tv and play mariokart. And I'm oddly not against it. I guess the reasons are that I feel this too shall pass, it's time to get used to doing stuff inside as fall and winter approaches, and the big one, that his sister can do it too.
See, even though she can't walk, she can sure yell at the screen! Plus it's something the kids can all do together, everyone is included and they all have a good time.
I should feel guilty. I should kick the boys out in the backyard to play with the neighbor kids (who are very put out he's ditching them). But all I can think is, hey, my kids are playing together, they're happy, and the bird isn't left out.
Plus ds#1 is in judo now. He'll still get exercise. Mostly since dad practices with him CONSTANTLY... argh.
