That thar sharin' thing here?
I'm seeing a lot of angsty comments about the apparent ability to share stuff even from locked posts here on LJ.
a) Can someone please aim me at the relevant announcement so I can read up on what sounds like somebodies bad judgement? Thank you.
b) Filters exist for a reason. Please respect them, for me and anyone else you read the journal of. (Most, probably all, of you already know this.) Even if an entry isn't filtered, unless the original poster has indicated it's sharable, it's a good idea to get permission before sharing your comment regarding, or any part of the original post.
Or just don't do it. Because changes are, if they wanted it somewhere else, they'd put it there themself.
