I was curious about just how big they *can* get, so I did some poking around online. Steller sea lions are the largest species.
http://www.pinnipeds.org/species/steller.htm lists the following size statistics Adult males measure an average 2.8m (maximum 3.2m) in length, and weigh an average 566kg (maximum 1,120kg)
Going with the maximum ends, we have an adult male with a potential size of about 10.5 feet in length and a weight of 2,469 lbs - well over a ton.
If you figure the guy in the picture is between 5-6 feet, the size of the sea lion is way out of proportion to the maximum stated above.
I also don't think I'd be feeding a sea lion that size fish from a bucket. That'd be like giving a dolphin, I dunno...little goldfish or something.
Though there are always odd occasions when an animal is way larger than it should be. That thing is the size of an elephant seal or a walrus (probably a bit bigger)
