Last week was like any other week until wednesday. A head hunter posted a job on the job board in the CS building. This apparently prompted a professor I had last semester to send the head hunter my resume that I had written for his class. The Head Hunter was interested in my resume so he called my up and game me an informal interview. He then forwarded my number to a guy at V2 Technology. He then asked me a couple of questions, and asked if he could meet me sometime over the weekend. I said it would be fine. I met with him on monday(memorial day) and he gave me an interview, asked me questions, lots of little things. Told me that the company was possibly facing a strike and that I would be temporarily replacing someone that would be working the floor while the strike was going on, that the company was in cleveland, and that I'd probably have an interview on Tuesday. Got a hold of me tuesday, set appointement at 3pm. Told me company I would actually be working for would be Alcoa. Left an hour early and made it to Alcoa right on time. Had another little informal interview with someone else from V2 Technology. Had another a little informal interview and then was taken to another floor. I then me with someone who would be my boss if I got the job. He asked me questions about my experience, etc. Told me about the situation going on with the possibility of the strike. Sounded interested in hiring me, and assured me that I would be contacted if the contract negotions went south. On the way out I had another conversation with the guys from V2 Technology, talking about languages I knew and experience I had. The I was done.

I spend a whole 30 mins in the building. I went through a total of 4 interviews and 3 hours talking on the phone and in person in 5 days. now I am just Blah.
