Adrienne grew up in New York City a chubby and curious girl with a passion for sketching.
At the age of fourteen she moved to San Francisco where she continued her strange and strict French education eventually graduating from Mills College. Upon graduation she became a commercial designer.
However she soon grew tired of the mechanics of advertising and began to paint.
Her imaginative painting's fantastic subject matter is drawn from photos and commissioned portraiture.
Within her work the figure is the focal point, and more specifically, the face. With a bright palette and elegant balance Adrienne creates characters that reflect the beauties and absurdities of living.me_jim_framed
