So I don't know if I missed something or not, but I don't really see any discussion going on about the Dare fics. I found this to be rather odd. Overall, what I have read so far has been good and entertaining - a couple of the fics have been outstanding. Did I miss a discussion thread or are folks waiting until the reveal

I assume people are waiting until the reveal. It's hard to compliment an author and ask questions if the author isn't allowed to respond. The ones I have read so far have been very well done.

So I'm guessing burnitbackwards hasn't bothered to do a critique this time as was the case for qaf_anon? ;) I think you need someone who's no longer invested in QaF fic and fandom to give their honest opinions about the current challenge but it looks as if they've not only left the building but moved out of the country.

eh, I don't know there was definitely more than a few I did NOT like :/ and I'm perfectly willing to say so. I just think it's a fine line (especially on the internet) between honesty & being 'mean'.

Yeah. A critique or comment is worth something. A nasty mean, spiteful, hateful and downright bitchy review from some bitter oldtimer with her head buried in her ass and an obssessive compulsive relationship with sara leefandom can fuck off.

No one can ever accuse me of being any of the above either. :-)

I've been commenting on the fics as I go through them. That reminds me; it was late when I finished the last several and I was lazy so need to go back and leave comments for a few yet.

I don't know what LJTalk is. Some sort of instant message thingy?
