OS seems to have decided that she wants to learn how to write -- and she's doing it. She can make most of the letters reasonably well and likes to practice writing things (even though she can't read yet, except for a few sight words).
She also seems to have a good grasp on the pattern lessons in CJ's math book.
CJ, meanwhile, is doing pretty well reading in Hebrew. The next thing, I guess, will be for him to learn the rest of the nekudos. (So far he knows kamatz, patach, segol and tseirei.) Then we can focus on teaching him the meaning of words and move on to conjugations.
Funny aside: Now that CJ has started getting homework assignments, I've changed his evening chart so that it has a column for homework. I told him that I was going to be doing this, and OS overheard me. She yelled, "Hey, I want homework too! It's not fair for only CJ to get!" I told her she could have it too and have been printing out simple worksheets for her. I told Walt I would have to hold this against her later when/if she complains about homework.
