as a child, did anyone have . . .
a giant blue plastic robot that shot things? I remember getting one as a present--it was dark blue and made of, as I recall, a soft plastic material. It launched some kind of rockets or missile-type things and I remember the robot being really tall. I believe this would have been in the 70s; I think it predated Transformers and probably Voltron. It was an awesome weapon of destruction. As I recall, I used it exactly once (to launch a missile at my baby brother) and it was taken away from me and put on top of the refrigerator--where, for all I know, it still is (Memo to whomever bought our old house in Houston: could you check the top of the fridge for me?)
