As far as Almaz had been concerned, he hadn't done much in the battle so far. By which I mean that he hadn't done much besides try and destroy all Zerg he got a glimpse of. Unlike his previous attempts at training, he was performing quite well. He felt like he was actually achieving progress now, and had cast away all of his signature hesitation to fight to the best of his ability. The sort of lightning-fast strikes and reflexes he now displayed had not been used ever before by him. Well, except when he took it upon himself to protect Sapphire, of course. In Almaz's mind, he was doing that thing at this very moment.
Once he was done with all of the waves that had attacked him, he allowed himself a few seconds to rest. He let out a nervous laugh, fully aware that it was unlike him to get so caught up in a battle. Maybe he should contact someone he knew before he went back to slicing anything that looked like it could've come from space, he figured.
"I... I wonder where Mao is." he started, not reacting in the least to a few wounds he had picked up in his previous confrontations. Almaz began to concentrate his efforts on finding his best friend, though not wasting any opportunities to destroy Zerg that got in his way.
Lo and behold, to Amaterasu's unexpected aid, a Konoka appears!
She's not too familiar with Thomas, but she's aware that he's a nice guy, and turning on Ammy was probably a trick of the swarm. "Please stop, Thomas-han!" Konoka pleaded, unaware of the futility of it. "Please don't fight Amaterasu!" She's currently trying to brainstorm a way to break Thomas free of the mind wipe, and it was failing miserably.
Thomas starts as the blade jerks in his hand. He threw himself back, and ran to get out of the reach of that lightning glaive, barely dodging it's blow.
He panted a little, his low stamnia was going to start catching up to him. He heard the pleas to stop. He laughed a little, it was a quiet one, unsteady - he is of the swarm, he should not be feeling regret. They would join him soon enough.
Then everyone will be at peace, no one will ever fight again.
With that, he tries to lure the wolf into the thickest of the swarm where he would be harder to spot, and more of the Zerg could lash out at this beast.
Amaterasu ROARED in fury as Thomas attempts to retreat, and a large, smoky barrier expands outwards, engulfing Thomas, Konoka, and several Hydralisks and Zerglings.
Once it reaches about 75 Meters across, it halts and stabilizes, preventing escape.
The wolf can cut off entire sections of the battlefield! His thoughts transmitted through the hivemind as he turned to fight - breath ragged, ichor-splattered weapon raised.
He won't give up, ever. "Stop, Stop this fight at on-once." The young man pleaded. "The Swarm is right, stop fighting the swarm."
The Zerglings have less interest in talking things out and leap to the attack, the few that leapt towards Ammy being avoided, the two that chased Konoka neatly bisecting.
Sanae, being outside the barrier, Sees only the smoky surface of the barrier.
Kerrigan decided enough was enough. These people were pissing her off, and it was time to show them what it meant to fight the Queen of blades.
The first thing they new of her entering the battle was a massive cloud of swarming, tiny bugs covering the field. Seeing more than a few feet in any direction was impossible.
Reisen finally recovered from Shinku's sudden swarm of petals (because this mun was at work, so there had to be an excuse for why she was doing nothing), and a spell card appeared between her fingers...
... it didn't matter which one it was, all that mattered was that the air was suddenly filled with the bullets. Connected to the swarm as she was, Reisen was able to phase out any bullets to go harmlessly through any that were with the swarm.
As the danmaku flew, the moon rabbit snapped up her handgun and fired off a volley of bullets at Shinku.
Gordon leaps forward and lands a devastating punch to a Zergling and sends it skidding along the ground. "Don't worry! I'll handle the little guys... and.. the big guys.. err, Just take care of the two crazy ones!" He says, heroically before giving a thumbs up with a sparkle of his teeth.
Which caught him a big ole claw to the face from a zergling. He turned and blasted it away with his little laser gun, and then worked on keeping Konoka, and Amaterasu from getting attacked while they tried to stop Thomas.
Until of course his vision was obscured by a sudden wave of insects.
Rozalin gagged on a mouthful of biting insects. Oh, they couldn't hurt her but they tasted foul. She was very very upset with this. Ranged combat was her specialty but in this fog, surrounded by teaming bugs, that advantage was nullified.
She needed to clear the air, and she needed to do it now. Holding her hands aloft, Rozalin summoned her power, and called her attack. "Rose Liberation!" The icy black hole formed... and was droped at her very feet, siphoning off a huge number of bugs, only to suck more in to fill their place, barely thinning the numbers at all. No matter. She had as much SP as an ocean had water. She could do it again. And she did.
Thomas sighed, and seeing they won't join willing, he raced forward to the wolf, blade slashing down in a half-crescent arc, his tear-stained face filled with grim determination as he kept fighting, despite knowing his abysmal odds.
Rita was coughing a lot due to the Zerg, and she couldn't chant because of that. Instead she keeps hacking away at the little verman as she makes her way towards Where she thinks Kerrigan is...
Kerrigan slipped through the buzzing clouds like, appropriately, a ghost. This cloud was part of the swarm, and so she could sense it, and the holes in it that meant her enemies.
Rita got a tiny bit of warning when a pair of eyes flashed suddenly in the crawling darkness. Suddenly bony blades were closing in from every direction.

I have made this plot too big and too complex for me to deal with. I feel like I'm slowly going insane, and I need a way out.
So Kerrigan is going to lose tonight. Sorry if you're getting cut out of things you wanted to do but I'm just tired.
