Who: Yojimbo, anyone willing to go near the Cave of Ordeals when powerless.
What: Scrooge McDood's head bodyguard and one of Overlord Baal's Devas is fighting off a swarm of demons rushing from the inside of the Cave of Ordeals, intending to take advantage of all the powerless people.
When: The sixth day after Doctor B.T. initiated the punishment.

Li had no idea who this guy was. Even if she did, it might not matter. The guy was clearly in trouble, even if he did somehow have his powers. The old man always helped those in need.

No way was she not going to live up to that.

A demon about to smack Yojimbo from behind gets a faceful of kung fu fist. Fine. She's no demon or anything. But she fought off the monsters that Odio sicced on her before she learned the really fancy stuff, she can handle this.

"What are you doing?"

Yojimbo grabs the demon Li had punched, which had turned its attention towards the woman. He throws it at a group of thirty, crushing them.

"What th' hell do you think I'm doing?! Helping!"

She turns her attention towards another hoard. The group that surrounds her get more than they bargained for; Lao Hu Zhi Wu hits them all right in the joints with a flurry of moves.

The demons grunted, annoyed.

"You are not going to be of any help here. Go back to the castle where it is safe. INFINITE GRAVES!"

Yojimbo tossed his blade into the air and a dozen came back down. With a shout, the swordsman duplicated himself and each copy plucked a blade from the ground and struck down the dozens of demons before they dissipated.

"Don't you fuckin' tell me what to do!"

If there's one thing Li hated, it was the assumption of her own weakness. "Let me tell you something, you prick. I fought off a ton of demons just as fucking nasty as this guy, and I didn't even have the flashy shit like you do. And I ain't lettin' some guy get himself killed 'cause he thinks I'm weak. So just accept th' help graciously!"

She keeps up her stance, ready for the next asshole demon to come along. She wasn't down and out yet.

"I have heard that a hundred times over from a hundred different individuals."

With a shout, an enormous, green blade of energy grew from Yojimbo's blade as he slashed out, cutting down a hundred demons with the single swipe.

"It's better not to push your luck in Overlord Baal's world."

"Says th' guy who was fightin' 'em off on his lonesome!" Still, Li has to admit she isn't quite displaying the SCOPE of damage Yojimbo is.

"Look, fine. I'll concede..." A kick to the jaw here. "...that there is way the fuck too many of these guys. But y' don't stop water by blockin' it with yer hand, you turn it off at th' source." Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

"I ain't lettin' you die of exhaustion. I can at least friggin' help you figure out how to slow down th' flow until people can make with the blasties again!"
