It's 1:00AM and time for the news! Why do we have such horrible timeslots? Seriously, does anyone actually watch the news at this hour?
As is typical for the Netherworld around this time of year, festivities are abound and spirits are at an all-time high! Demons the world over are preparing for the most wonderful day of the entire year by decorating everything they can find while putting together their own costumes in anticipation for everyone's favorite ritual:
Trick-or-treating.
I myself have my own costume already prepared, as does Pleinair. Isn't that right, Pleinair?

Hahaha, yes. We have been sent several pictures from prominent Netherworld demons showing off their own costumes: here we have Senator Scary M.F. dressed as Senator Righteous with what appears to be an arrow through his head, Senator Coccoo dressed as a white-clad colonel of some sort, and Senator Sexy wearing no--wh-whoa. Alright, I'll be keeping this one for myself.
Moving onto our final story: Whether the result of Overlord Baal's generosity or a new malfunctioning of the Dimensional Gate, Netherworld immigration has skyrocketed just in time for the holiday! Hundreds of new people from innumerable worlds have appeared just over the last day, many of which are conveniently in-costume. Are these moochers here just to take advantage of our delicious, delicious candies or is there a more sinister plot behind this sudden boon of people?
I know I don't give a crap either way! C'mon, Pleinair, let's get into our costumes and start getting candy.
((The event has started! Remember to read the rules, put 'TRICK-OR-TREATING EVENT' in journal titles, and have fun. Every character in the Netherworld will have a store of goods suddenly appear in their room: they can be normal sweets, weird-ass Netherworld treats, or healthy things--it's up to you.
Visiting characters can come in costume and will receive a very vague explanation of why they're here: to trick-or-treat. It may be in the Netherworld character's best interest to try giving out their candy! Hint hint.
There is also a special log everyone can participate in!
And lastly, there will also be a chatroom on AIM for both Netherworld muns and visiting muns! If you want to plot something out, or if you just wanna chat it up, stop by costumepartyofdarkness!))
