Terribly sorry for posting a comment here, but I can't find where to ask a question. ouo So, what if a character's back story is in actuality, very short, or perhaps even non existant? For the character i'm trying to sign up as, his backstory is pretty much unknown.
Do not worry! In fact, we should mention that we don't mind people asking questions here. This is the FAQ, after all.
You can do one of two things:
1. Attempt to write what there is of background for the character. Length is not something we take into too much account when accepting applications. One LJ comment's worth of well-written background would be sufficient. A thorough description of the character's personality and a good sample is more important to us than the length of the background.
2. Apply for someone that is easier to app first and take advantage of our application system since subsequent applications do not require backgrounds. May sound like the more tedious option, but it's surprising how many people pick this one.
Oh yes, i'm actually trying to decided if i'll be able to do this. Writing my RP sample is proving to be rather difficult, haha. And lately I have no time. I may not bring my app in by tomorrow as I had asked to have it reserved. |D
