early morning randomness

i am studying for a chemistry test.

you read that right. chemistry. after like 4 complete years of not touching an ounce of science. (okay perhaps a bit of science back in that crazy physics module).

and perhaps you'll figure that i'm dying. hahahaha! but anyway, i suddenly am so thankful wikipedia exists. because seriously, wikipedia is teaching me a whole lot more stuff than what the prof has taught us - not that he's a bad prof, i just think his intellect is too way beyond. things that he believes are elementary knowledge are actually pretty darn technical (and i'm taking this comment from a friend who studies science for her major and is taking that module :P).

thank God for mr L. he was such a good chem teacher. at least i've got a wee bit of basics thanks to him, or i'll be even loster than i already am.

er. i just realised some of the notes *are* from wiki. *raises brow*

lol i just listened to iljimae track 5 (which is such a majestic song) and then gintoki comes on with sen no kaze ni natte LOL!

okay! it's gonna be an all-nighter but i'm hungry so let's rest with a ghostbusters ep! :D

janine: oh, egon, you're such a genius.
egon: yes, i know.

*

egon: ...um gentlemen? don't take this the wrong way, but in 50 seconds... we die.
peter: aww, not without dinner!

(笑)!! the gbs never fail to crack me up.

i came to the conclusion recently that the reason why i like gintoki so much is probably cos' he's so much like peter venkman :P laidback, flippant, lazy and yet also very smart, loyal, with an angsty past, and the kind that would die for his friends :). and because his interaction with zura is also very peter + egon! hahahaha! <3

thank God it's a cool night :) if it were warm i'd surely be nodding off by now :S and thank God for coffee! :P

i suppose it's also good that i have some neuro drama cd tracks on my playlist... because there are creepy voices on it HAAHAHA. oh and takehito koyasu's sadistic laugh is priceless :D.

the things that happen while studying. i suddenly sort of realise what on earth tamaki is singing in "guilty beauty love".

tsumi wa boku ga fureru mono subete koi ni ochite
HAATO ubwareta kimi wa zenzen warukunai sa

the sin is that whatever i touch falls in love
so if your heart is stolen it's not your fault at all

(or something like that.)

LOL! HONESTLY TAMAKI <3. this song fits his ego so well man :D

i can't stress the importance of a well-built playlist to me when i study :P i'm very particular when it comes to playlists and if it's not built to my fancy-of-the-moment my motivation is easily lost. and not to mention i fall asleep easily. (i probably shouldn't have put the counting sheep tracks on this time though LOL!)

okay, and eternally by utada hikaru is a nice song but it's kind of too mushy at this cold hour :P

somehow this is turning into a running commentary about the songs playing *peer* oh well. i'm quite sick of studying :( umineko no naku koro ni! i like this song. very drama hahaha. a nice blend of japanese and... italian?

can't get enough of redballoon still :) what nice songs they have <3!

wahahaha. disgaea music. what a varied sound: nice nightmare before christmas-sounding instrumentals and silly computer game sounding ones.

then it's jubei-chan's omoide no naka de :)! i think that show has a beautiful soundtrack. thanks to the great toshio masuda. this song still makes me feel extremely nostalgic. i've got goosepimples. or perhaps that's cos' of the cold hour. time to boil water :P

oh! haven't heard this song in a long time. remember by todd hunter band, found off garageband.com haha! haven't explored that place in a while now. :P

oh haha korean rap :P witch yoo hee! i can't believe i liked a romantic k-drama *peer* but that was really very rare. at least it was pretty snappy unlike a lot of soapy k-dramas. but part of why i liked the drama was also cos' of its soundtrack :O i've only liked 3 k-dramas in my life :P one is be strong, geum soon (BUT GOSH THAT WAS LONG.), this show, and of course the best of all was iljimae.

ooh haven't heard this in a while either! walk away by mad at gravity. i think indie/alternative bands have strange names *peer*. but it's a great rock song!

gosh, it's the heartbreaking yet heartwarming song. papa to asobou! from hughes and his adorable daughter elysia :P or rather, their seiyuus. it's such a damn cute song but it's heartbreaking because we all know what happened to hughes huh :(:(:(:(

i wonder why the playlist keeps playing the same gintama drama cd tracks?? why not the others leh? but still, funny no matter how many times i hear them :P

mm, it's mitsumetetai <3. what a lovely, wistful rock song. still one of my faves after all these years! the lyrics are so sad. :(

and then bakumatsu kikansetsu irohanihoheto instrumentals. still so damn awe-inspiring. it's right up there with the POTC and transformers soundtracks. hey, perhaps even more so cos' i got sick of some of the transformers ones, but i haven't gotten sick of iroha's soundtrack after these few years!

ghostnote's i, ai, ai! love this song :D love the lyrics too <3

tokyo rose. haha contrary to its name it's actually a western alternative band :P i like some of their songs! :)

ah dishwalla. so nice to hear at this hour. i'm getting sleepy :( i wish they'd come here and have a concert some day.

wish i could be
every thing you wanted
all the time

oh! now one of my favourite songs of all time. radical dreamers. the reason why i tried to learn guitar in the first place. (and failed miserably LOL)

okay off to sleep for an hour. hope i can get up! :P thanks for being my companion blog lol!

music, dishwalla, the real ghostbusters, peter venkman, work, redballoon, tamaki, gintoki
