From English to Dutch
My husband and I are planning to relocate to the Netherlands, at the behest of extensive family who live there and welcome us, and well, I loved it there. ( Bemmel/Nijmegen).
I've started tackling dutch, and I have more time on my hands to do so, but he doesn't. Is there any clever ways to get some dutch language stuff in for him? I think all he has is a vocab thing on his ipod and I've tried teaching him silly phrases.
I've already told him I'm not translating for him, so he has to learn more than "please, thankyou, chicken and "I am not a trained monkey".
If anyone made the leap from english to dutch, I'd sure appreciate some tips! Dank u well!
