New Zealand quake help
On the matter of helping out those in New Zealand…..
As many on here will know, New Zealand was hit badly by an earthquake recently and there’s a lot of damage, people missing and dead. It’s pretty bad. And so, as has become tradition within the last year or so, fandom on Live Journal has set up an auction.
Basically people will volunteer their talents in several areas, and people bid on them and/or buy them with the money going directly to charity. Nobody on the com ever sees a dime of it. This method raised a lot of money for Haiti and Chili, and now we’re doing it for New Zealand.

I can't do anything to help out in Libya, I have no power to do anything other than try and talk about it with people IRL but this I can do something practical about.
