The Dell PERC alarms are generally silenceable 2 ways: 1) In the BIOS for the card (accessible only during boot) and 2) through the Dell Open Manage RAID Manager software, it'll go in and diddle the alarm bit in the BIOS from within Windows for ya. . . .
