NOTES

I am so glad to break this out. I feel like EVE after being stuck in that pod on her way down to the ship. Time to fly!

So, this was actually written before the movie came out, but with the mix of theories and previews I had seen and misc knowledge, figuring out how to put a spoiler warning was complicated. Simply saying "spoilers for the movie" is much easier.
But, a lot of this is based on theory. From what I had learned about EVE from trailers/tv spots/etc, I made some theories about her character. I guess that she was a kinda cynical character who just wanted to do her job. Then I wrote this situation. In many ways, I was right, though she came out nicer in the movie than how I wrote her in this. So please, excuse the slight OOC of this first fic. I hope you'll still enjoy.

AND NOW, THE FIC

She couldn't beleive this. She just couldn't.

Why and how had WALL-E followed her here? She could hear track following behind her as she floated through the halls of the Axiom. She desperately wanted to go debrief, and she had to soon, but what would the humans say if she came in with an Earth class robot trailing behind? She was ready to pull a plasma gun on him if this kept up much longer. Nice bot or not, he was getting in the way of her job, and she couldn't stand it.

But for once in her life, EVE decided that plasma was not the best way to solve the problem. Instead, she sped up, flying through the halls until the track noises were gone. She looked back just in case, and sighed in relief, using her map programming to keep her from now being hopelessly lost.

But as she floated down the corridor, she found herself even more annoyed than before. It was just... too quiet.

She stopped moving. Her expression grew even more irritated. Oh, great, she was now officially used to having him around.

She headed back and hoped he hadn't gotten himself killed.
