Parent's 30th anniversary coming up on Friday. My plan of booking them 5 days in Madrid has been shot down due to their work commitments, need an alternative ASAP. Any ideas? Solutions? Needs to be something good as I've forgotten the previous.....29 of them.

well, 'fancy' being the key word. you either want to get them out of the country or you don't. long weekend in venice? Venice kicks ass.

Well I'd almost booked Madrid when I checked with them,, my dad's just started a new job so he's travelling all the time and can't commit to a weekend off. So now I have to put actual thought into the present :(
