Has it nearly been a week since I've updated?

Damn has time gone by quickly. It's nearly half way through January. I haven't been around much. Every evening seems to be booked up with activities. Along with my usual volleyball nights, I've been learning how to dance. Wipe that smirk off your faces. Yes Nelson is learning how to dance. I'm currently learning how to cha cha cha. I'll also be learning quite a few other types of dances including the waltz, jive, jazz and a bit of hip hop. Not only is dancing a good workout, there's always lots of eye candy around. :P

My ballroom dancing instructor thinks that my partner and I should compete. Apparently we're decently coordinated and with a couple months of instruction and practice, we should be able to compete locally. He even claimed that we should finish in the top three. I don’t know, I guess it would be fun to try. Perhaps I can get some of you to come out and cheer me on. Actually no, that means even more pressure! Ack! I guess I'll see how confident I am in a couple months.

One thing about ballroom, the guy always leads. I'm not really that type of guy. I'm more of a compromise person. I suggest, then we confer, then together we decide. This isn't the case with the cha cha cha. I have to make a decision and fast. Then I give my partner the hand signal, then we execute. She follows me. I make all the choices and she doesn't really have a say. That is something I am not used to.

I suppose it's not such a bad thing. Lots of women like men that take charge right? For all those the women readers out there, do you like your man/date to take the reins? Or would you prefer a man to be more passive?
