Do you see what time it is?

I've been working on my site for the last few hours. I must admit, I probably wouldn't be very good at doing this kind of thing for a living. I would get annoyed sitting in front of the computer while cursing my wireless mouse. One thing is good though, I'm jamming to the tunes as loud as I want. I got these kick ass headphones on. Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Sting, and Usher never sounded better.

My site's pages actually look somewhat uniform. I had started updating it sometime last year. Being the procrastinator that I am, I left it for much too long. I need to update the pictures and some other stuff, but generally everything else is done. I'm having a problem with the webcam link. I'll try to debug that sometime later when I'm a little more coherent.

Now I'd like to talk about something that has been on my mind since Boxing Day. As you all should know, there was a 8.9 on the Richter scale earthquake located near South Asia. It wasn't so much the earthquake but the tsunami that ensued that caused this atrocious tragedy. The death toll is on the increase with a total nearing 140 thousand. That would be the total population of one of our provinces, namely Prince Edward Island.

If I had the means I would fly over there and do something to help out. Unfortunately I'm not in the financial position to drop everything and leave. I've been thinking about a way to raise money to donate to the Red Cross or some other charity so it would directly assist the victims of this horrible disaster. I have an idea but I'll need lots of help. I was thinking about a bowling/fundraising event. I would need volunteers, sponsors, people to collect pledges/bowlers, etc. I would talk to a few people to hopefully get a bowling alley for a few hours for this event. I'm not sure how feasible this is. I'm going to do some research and see how plausible everything looks.

I can't bear the thought of doing nothing. Perhaps some of you have some suggestions? No idea is too small! Let me know what y'all think.
