(no subject)
So, basically, I'm alive. I got really sick earlier this week, but today is the fist day I've felt 100 percent better. Regardless, this trip has been a lot of fun. XD I got to drive a jet ski for the first time. It was so great to just glide along the water with nothing but the wind to get in your way. We also went snorkeling. It wasn't the best I'd seen, but it was fun to swim with the cute fish. :3
We also got to see what's called "Laughing Water." It's pretty much the place where a river meets the ocean, and there are all these patches of hot and cold water when you're wading out in the sea. I sat in the river for a bit, too, but the current was too strong to really do anything other than hold onto roots and feel the water pounding against me. My mother accidently fell in, and in the chaos I started getting swept downstream, but my brother caught me in time. No one was hurt, though, so that was good.
I started working on some old stories that have been pretty much untouched for the past while. There are some projects I'd really like to go ahead and finish so I can properly move onto other things.
For those who are wondering, I'll be home late Friday night. Can't wait to see my Oklahoma peeps on Saturday! ♥
EDIT: OH YEAH, I forgot to give an obligatory ramble about The Apprentice season finale. ;~; But...it's too far in the past to really say much about it, and I doubt very many people care anyway. Let me just say...I kinda sorta wish Lee had won even though the vast majority of America apparantly disagrees with me, and I can see why Sean ultimately prevailed. (Older, worked for companies, has a British accent, blah blah blah.)
