I just returned home from a weekend and three week days of traveling, and I can honestly say that it sucked to get back home. haha. I walked off the airplane, and the frigid breeze made my skin crawl.
I think I know where I'm going. I didn't realize it when I was there, but now that I'm home, I already miss it. The weather's AMAZING (think 77 degree weather), the campus is BEAUTIFUL (think magnolias, wisteria, and red bud trees EVERYWHERE, as well as flowers and these really tall, stately trees), I love the gardens (think five miles of flowers, ponds, bridges, and gazebos--like a Monet painting), the people are so nice (my hosts were awesome), they have so many programs that I'm really really interested in (like service learning), and in the two days on campus, I already feel like I'm at home. For someone who gets lost very easily, I found my way around campus surprisingly well, and I feel like I know what's going on.
Now I just have to make up the work I missed at school, but eh, we'll see.
Senior year... almost over. It's hard to believe that it's already April and that we're almost done with school.
