Sheesh, job hunting really takes it out of me.
Today I managed two applications at the county (one is a Voter Registration Processor---I think that would be way cool), and one at a bank. 3 isn't so bad. Would have been four had the City not changed their application policies.
I am so pooped from typing and writing the same crap over and over. Many places want you to write it out no matter if it's on your resume or not.
Now we just have to cross our fingers and see what happens. Get me out of my personal hell!
Last night was drinks with takethatrussia, Robbie and Joey. This afternoon I met Rose again with loritata so we could introduce Lori to the glorious serenity that is HBs deli. We had a great time making fun of everyone (particularly secret lover type lawyers and judges). I had my first Little Redheaded Lawyer sighting in a LONG TIME (*sigh* I'll never forget my day at Jury Duty when we first locked eyes :P). We also saw Sammy Hagar Mailman, who now has a curly mohawk.
Then I went on my job hunt.
Thanks, Rose for all of the cool stuff. I am gonna run out to my car and bring it in now. See you tomorrow night (or earlier in the day for lipstick!!)!
I have to work at 645 am tomorrow. UGH. That means early bed time tonight.
