A Late Regain (Back Dated to Tuesday Evening)

Sep 22, 2011 00:55

[Ness had been doing his best to fend off whatever ghouls had come his way. With a baseball bat as his best and most preferred means of defence, Ness finally arrived back at his home after a long and frightful journey through the town.

He'll do his best to try and locate his family member. Mister Gumshoe COULDN'T have been turned into a zombie! Ness had dealt with the undead before, and he was sure that an adult such as Gumshoe was more than capable of defending himself. But what about his friends? Was Pokey okay? What about Lucas? Ness didn't trust relying on the phones, as it had backfired so many times in the past. What was he to do? Should he remain home and wait for things to blow over, or take a chance and fight his way back through the town to help others who were in danger?

Setting down his rucksack, Ness pulled out the package he recieved from the Post Office only a few days ago. With everything happening around him, he hadn't found the time to open it. Keeping his fingers crossed, Ness tore open the packaging, expecting to be endowed with a PSI attack of some sort.

Not quite exactly..

Though, the error did play in his favor..

Ness regianed Zombie Paper!

- - - -

Back about the streets of town, Ness will be found searching building fronts and sheds among the neighborhood's housing. He seems to be looking for "just the right spot". He's still keeping cautious of any one who happens to pass by. Can't be too sure when zombies are on the loose.

Eventually, Ness will make his way back to the center of town. When he arrives, Ness will withdraw a small slip of adhesive paper, laying it upon the concrete ground. Once stationed, Ness will run as fast as his legs can carry him to the nearest tree where he'll climb up and perch himself above the planted Zombie Paper. It looks like the young boy is in for the long haul.

((What does the zombie paper do? Well.. It's like Fly Paper, but with zombies. They're attracted to it, and even though the paper only covers a small spot, for some strange reason the zombies become stuck to the ground surrounding it! Check out when the video is at 2:40. By the next morning, any zombies who have been lurking over night in the immediate town square area will find themselves stuck to the ground , unable to move. If your zombie stage still allows you complete control over your thoughts and actions, you will have some restraint on whether or not the paper affects you, but it requires a great deal of willpower to not be drawn in. I'll leave it up to player discression, since it is more fun and more fair that way. Just know that your zombie urges want you to go to the center of town for some thing or other if ya' wanna' play along. So once you're stuck to the "zombie paper-tagged" area, you can still talk and interact with the others around you. You just can't really move, is all.))
