not that many but I tend to invent lots of boyfriends and girlfriends for him (and sometimes Barney Ross)
My unpopular opinion about this character:
I like this movie which in itself is a rather unpopular opinion because oh my God it is so trope-y and cliché and bad and I adore every single second of it.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
HOW ABOUT WE FORGET WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SECOND MOVIE ;^;

... okay yeah it is Barney/Billy, I’m gonna hide in a hole now (really, it is just so cute and adorable and wonderful and the movie makes it so obvious that Barney is so infatuated with him and Billy is all hero worship puppy crush and ohhh Q_Q).
my OT3:
Barney/Lee/Billy, in a “they are his adopted parents”-kind of way, where no one has the slightest idea how raising a child works but they get by nonetheless.
my cross over ship:
I ship him with Jack, the son of John McLane from the fifth “Die Hard”-Movie. This is the weirdest thing ever and there is this whole story in my head, where Jack and Billy are totally in love and oblivious to the hate-filled looks their parents give each other during Christmas dinners.
my kink:
BREAK THE CUTIE. Seriously, I can never get enough of cute, hurt Billy who is self-conscious because of the cool people around him, hiding his injuries and thinking his surrogate dads hate him.
a head canon fact:
Billy was dishonourably discharged from the army - he rejected commands to kill a civilian because there was not enough evidence to actually link said civilian to a crime and for his commanding officer this was the last straw (Billy was defiant anyways), so when Billy comes back to the States he is too ashamed to go back to his family. Instead he gets involved with some criminal mobsters who tell him to steal motorcycles and cars and he does so because he really needs the money (he supports his parents financially). Right up until he is asked to steal Barney’s bike - and gets caught. Barney is not very impressed with the idiot at first but the boy puts up quite the fight so he lets him live and demands an explanation. Because Billy is tired and weary and doesn’t care anymore, he tells him his story and Barney is basically ready to adopt him by the end of it - now they only need to find out why the mobsters were stupid enough to pick a fight with Barney’s gang. Oh, and he should tell Lee that they have a mascot now.
