I have a really bad case of writer's block right now which angers me to no end since I have a lot of ideas but my brain dies as soon as I open Word. Therefore: THERAPEUTIC WRITING EXERCISE!

1. Do you read fic? Do you write fic?
Yes to both. If I find a new show/movie/book, I immediately search for fanfiction and if there isn't enough to satisfy my fangirl greed, I quickly lose interest in the actual show.
2. Favorite genre of fic?
Shipping/Romance/AUs
3. Favorite fandom?
I have like... a thousand and thirty one favorite fandoms, depending on mood, season, planetary constellation, but right now my favorite fandoms are Dragon Age, Nowhere Boys and The Musketeers
4. Favorite pairing?
Again, going with the three most recent fandoms:
Dragon Age: Alistair/male!rouge!Warden, Zevran/Alistair, Morrigan/fem!warrior!Warden, Anders/male!warrior!Hawke, fem!Hawke/Isabela, Fenris/Hawke AND MY OTP male!Hawke/Varric
Nowhere Boys: Jake/Felix, Jake/Andy, Sam/Andy, Ellen/Felix, Mia/Sam... okay yeah I ship everyone (I even ship Bates/Jake's mother. Sorry Jake).
The Musketeers: Athos/d'Artagnan/Porthos/Aramis - no really, give me any constellation I will love it (Porthos/ d'Artagnan, UNF!), Treville/Richelieu, Constance/Milady, Aramis/Marsac, Porthos/Bonnaire (ohh the delicious hate sex), Vadim/d'Artagnan (break the cutie could be so wrong and great with him).

Again, what fandom are we talking about? xDD

I usually prefer one-shots - although those can easily go up to 50k, so xD
8. Do you read WIPs?
Yes. I never check whether the fic is finished or not, but since I mostly read one-shots anyway...
9. What is the longest fic you’ve read?
I cannot remember the title because I read that one way back in 2002 when I first found out about the existence of fanfiction. It was some 150k about Legolas/OFC I think. (she was a...warrior? Of some kind? And in the end they had to battle against each other for uh reasons and he tricked her into loosing by promising her to show her some hot springs. I can't remember that much and it might not have been that long after all, but it took me seven weeks to read the whole thing because at the time I didn't have internet access at home and I could only read it at school in "IT", when I was supposed to learn about Exel and whatnot).
10. Favorite trope/element/scenario in fic?
Hurt/Comfort, dialogue-fic, modern AUs, coffeeshop AUs, snark, slow buildup to the inevitable kiss/sexy-times.
11. Least favorite trope/element/scenario?
Gore/horror, female character bashing, everything with Zombies.
12. What turns you away the most from a fic?
Uh... apart from really obvious signs that scream "BADFIC" into my face? I am not that much of a fan of OCs. I read fanfiction mostly for the shipping so if the story mainly focuses on a pairing I don't like I won't read it. I also mostly stay away from gen-fic.

13. Has a fic ever made you cry?
I don't think so, but I do get sad and depressed whenever I finish a particularly moving story.
14. What tropes/elements/scenarios get you the worst?
Everything about solitude (voluntary or not). pining/one-sided, unfulfilled love, not getting together with the love interest because of DUTY, and ... yeah I like to read break the cutie/the broody hero-fanfics.
15. Do you mind when characters cry?
I love it, actually. Especially if it's some big dark hero type who rarely shows emotion and then breaks down crying whenever he is alone (hello Athos, my old friend!)
16. How do you feel about character death in fic?
Depends. If it's canon then I'll read it, if it's not I won't. (If it's an AU along the lines of "What if Sirius survives until book seven and then has to watch Remus die in the Battle of Hogwarts", that's great, too).
17. Any characters who you can’t stand to see in pain?
Children. Everything above a scraped knee or a broken arm is a no-go for me. If it's emotional pain ("OMG MOMMY HATES ME!") then I'm all good.

Hmm, Hände by rei17 is pretty much perfect. =D

Nah, I love it. I read it, I write it, I find delight in it.

Yes. I write them and read them.

Uff. Might have been in my Sherlock Holmes fandays which is probably the best way to get introduced to it
22. Biggest turn-ons in fic?
Masturbation, hand-jobs, blowjobs, characters still half dressed, biting, helping others to let go... tons of stuff actually.
23. Biggest turn-offs in fic?
Anything and everything with bodily wastes. Jesus Christ I once read a Pike/McCoy fic which was really great, loving and hot, right up until the sexytimes started to involve scat and watersports. Dude. No.
24. Do you have any dirty kinks that you’re ashamed of?
Sexpollen, probably. It's not so much a dirty secret kink than a silly one - and it's so gratuitous and just there for wish-fulfillment AND I LOVE IT.

Nah, I'm good.
26. Any kinks that you don’t want to try in real life (but are still hot in a fanfic)?
Do threesomes with hot people count...Sex in dirty back alleys in Paris outdoors - I'm way too squeamish about dirt, insects and everything else that ~nature~ has to offer

Both. Depends on the pairing and the mood I find myself in. (Stop lying it's always rough)

It's great. It can be sexy, cruel, wanton, fluffy, desperate, shameful (hmm catholic guilt, eheheh) and really really hot.
29. How do you feel about non-con and dub-con?
Dub-con is great, non-con...not so much. It really depends on the story and the characters themselves but I usually prefer them NOT to get raped.
30. Favorite porn fic?
The Dragon Age kink meme. Like. A lot of the stories there. Oh and this one. It's Hornblower/Bush with a twist and it's beautiful.

Yes. All of them.

high school AUs, different job AUs, detective AUs, coffeeshop AUs, space AUs, I love all of them.

Hmm, no, I can't think of anything right now.
34. Do you like UAs (universe-alterations, when the main universe and characters are the same but one plot point/decision/outcome is altered)?
Yes. Especially if those are used to explore a character's decisions and feelings even more deeply.
35. Do you like high school and college AUs?
I love high school AUs to death and I am ashamed to admit it.
36. Do you like crossovers? If so, favorite crossover?
I do. And although this rec is probably considered cheating: The White Knight is Talking Backwards, a Steve/Tony fanfic, where they meet their Ultimates-verse counterparts and then have to come to terms with how different their relationship is in another universe.
37. How do you feel about parent!fics/lovechildren? How about mpreg?
Hmm. I like this only in terms of Steve/Tony&Peter and Barney/Lee&BIlly-fics? Or rather where two people kind of adopt a younger person, so they grow into a dysfunctional family all by themselves, no biological strings attached. Mpreg can be funny if done for the lulz and crackiness of it, but I don't really like any serious mpreg-fanfics.
38. How do you feel about genderbending? De-aging? Animalizing?
I love everything apart from the animalizing if there is not at least a hint of canon in that direction (aka making Derek stuck in his wolf form in Teen Wolf is great, but turning Sherlock into a dog just for the lulz of it is not my cup of tea). De-aging is great, but I prefer the amnesia-thing (aka character wakes up in their normal body but thinks they area a 17teen year old instead of a hardened cop or seasoned fighter for justice).

Damn, there was this really cute Spartacus-Coffeeshop-AU, why can't I remember the title...
Fluff:
40. Do you like fluff?
Yes, but only with a healthy dose of hurt/comfort attached to it.
41. Favorite fluffy tropes?
Caring for a sick character, a short moment of bliss before the inevitable storm, the "beach episode"-fanfics.
42. Least favorite fluffy tropes?
Kidfic when it's overly sweet and not cracky/funny enough

See above. Angsty fluff and fluffy sex is great.

Pure fluff without any conflict whatsoever might be too much for me.

Dilf by twentysomething. It's a Teen Wolf AU fic with all the family feels and Stiles/Derek is endgame.
