Ticking Away
Despite the title's reference, I'm feeling better tonight. :)
I think, when all's said and done, I need to learn to be more carefree about everything. Not too carefree, though, or I think I'd lose my touch.
In any event, this next week should be fun:
-Working only until 5pm tomorrow, then organizing my FSOT study materials
-Attending brat fest Monday (with no inclement weather) and getting some good relaxing time in
-Hopefully finally reaching level 60 in WoW soon, with tons of help, of course
-Only working 3 days next week, then hopefully going home for the weekend...
-Where my parents and I will watch movies, eat cupcakes, and I get to go through some boxes of kitchen and bathroom stuff for August. Also...I get my Air Canada reimbursement check and get to pass over Sword of Truth #2 to my dad for reading, I'm glad he's enjoying the series.
I feel like there was some other stuff I wanted to get done while home, but I can't remember just now. Hopefully I'll remember soon....
My new book is proving fantastic, I just love Tracy Chevalier. Every book she's written I love; the story lines, the fictional characters that are still so lifelike and relate-able, as well as her writing style. I suppose I'll most likely be done with it very soon, so I'll have to pick out yet another good book!
Upcoming:
-Sims 3 on June 2. That is all that needs to be said.
-Shopping for Ben's graduation gift. I NEED HELP. Also need to get a wedding gift, gah.
-Chris coming home! It's only 19 days away! Not like I'm counting down, or anything. Pssh.
-More inevitable job hunting, though a potential reduced schedule may make this easier? And my schedule more stable? What?
Plus a few more small things that I don't need to write down to remember.
I really need to change over some music on my zen stones: more Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd is needed on both...seriously.
Just realizing how scattered this entry is. Meh, oh well. Expect England part 3 some time this next week or weekend, most likely. Good night!
EDIT: Can I just ask: how awesome would Jethro Tull's Aqualung be in Guitar Hero or Rock Band? The guitar solos? Honestly? Does anyone know if this made it into any game yet???
