Work, Randoms, and Madison Property's Reign

Work has been steadily getting better.  Matt is out for the week since he's traveling around Miami so I feel less pressured around work, but then this week Jose has asked off because he's pretty sick, and yesterday (and today?) Eugenio called in sick as well, so now it's just Nick and I ALL DAY.  Usually that's not a big deal, but when I barely know how the shop operates when there's a bunch of us around...it can be a bit intimidating.

Today I close (again - along with Thursday and Friday this week), but I don't start until noon, so I'm taking my sweet time this morning savoring not having to go in.  I'll probably make a nice lunch, too, since yesterday's Burger King did NOT sit well with me....

My Winamp is being wonky today...hmm.  Other than that - I made level 30 in World of Warcraft!  Thanks to some well-needed gold courtesy of both Chris and my dad, I learned riding and purchased a mount!  It's already saved me from a couple of the horde who wander around Darkshire like morons, killing anything they see.

I went home this weekend to show my parents my new car and they loved it!  My dad even washed it for me!  And then, of course, last night it snowed...  :(  We proceeded to watch six movies in a row on Saturday night, then Sunday I drove home after a fantastic lunch of leftovers.  Great day to be driving, not too much traffic, warm, etc.  I even had my window down for some of the ride!

Finally, my most recent annoyance in Madison Property Management (as usual).  Seth, Victoria and I put our checks in the same letter to be mailed to them on Thursday.  Apparently they haven't received any of them.  I handed the fucking letter to the postman at work.  WTF.  I'm livid, and today ALL their accountants are in a meeting this morning until 11.  WTF AGAIN.  I'm so sick of their bullshit -- and none of us are paying a late fee, I know I mailed that letter on time.  If they can't keep their accounting straight, that's not my problem.  I don't understand how practically 50 people can't keep their books straight when 2 can do it alone (perfectly!) at McBride.  Ugh!

I'm thinking of writing a letter to the Herald about it, of course since I have some contacts who would definitely publish it.  I think it's only right that practically every student in Madison hear about their terrible, terrible service.  :)

Anywho, off to shower!  Showers away!
