Gotta Love Those $20 Paychecks

Dec 01, 2008 15:03

Then again, if I worked more than a 3 1/2 hour shift, that might help.

Groupmates in my marketing class are being cool, as usual.  No problems there.

Groupmates in my consumer science class (with the exception of Ericka and Kurt, it seems), are being retarded.

No one seems to understand that this presentation needs to be given on THURSDAY.  And I'm the only one so far who's signed up to do it.  Now, I'm not going to blame anybody for specifically not wanting to speak, but we need input from the other two on who else will.  One groupmate may have family problems?  I think she's just lazy and skipping class/not caring.  Whatever.  Maybe she really does have a family issue.  Either way, it's frustrating.  Oh, and to top things off, her inbox is full, so we can't even send her messages.  WONDERFUL.

2,025 points on my credit card so far!  Woo!  Only like 123,000 more to go and I get a plane ticket to Asia!  :(  On a side note, why do they have to put your account number on the sheets like five separate times?  Overkill, seriously.

Facebook, I enjoy your "FAIL" page, but here's a friendly tip: let's try failing less often, kay?

Oh, and just because it snowed and apparently people don't understand how to drive their cars or walk in boots doesn't mean you're allowed to be an idiot, alright?

Honestly, I think everyone's just getting antsy for school to be out, and no one cares much anymore.  I know I really don't.

NGamer (a British all-Nintendo themed magazine) ran a contest recently in the hopes of receiving a Nintendo gachapon toy fresh from Japan.  Unfortunately, I didn't win one, but I did receive a reply from Nick Ellis, editor of the magazine.  Since I purchased an Americanized version of the mag, I didn't receive one of the bonus gifts, a Super Mario Galaxy mousepad.  He said he would send me one of the many extras they have at the office if I mailed him my address.  Score!  Sometimes it pays to be nerdy and apply to random contests!

Loving all the new music I've gotten, hating the fact that it's all in FLAC format, which means I can't play it on anything I own.  Convert away!

Alrighty, done ranting/raving for now, gotta step up to the homework and wait for some quality library time this evening.  *sigh*
