Wow. I've been defriended, probably for making weeklyish, politically charged posts. I guess it's getting to that point in the political race where one group gets excited and other groups find that excitement either offensive or at least obnoxious. I'm sad that political discussion would offend people, though definitely can understand the obnoxious bit. Political campaigns attempt to reach the most tuned out potential voters, which means that they're going to saturate the more tuned in voters. (And for the record, even if I disagree with you on political issues, or any issues, I understand how you can thoughtfully come to the position you came to.)
