[Hellblazer] The Red Right Hand + [Supernatural] Castiel

This author. I was looking for Garth Ennis, but found this instead.

I HOPE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. And the reason for this post.

I just had to get it.

Interesting story here. Starts as John gets drawn to the ghost town of Glasgow, which will be the epicentre of a worldwide plague if he doesn't find a way to stop the Praexis demons. I found the story hard to follow at first, so I re-read it twice.

Art is alright; I love the issue covers within this volume.

You see. I've always wanted to go back to Hellblazer, but the good writers aren't exactly writing for the fandom since forever! (GARTH??? HI?) Watching Supernatural again just ignited that John Constantine love, thanks to Mischa Collins. Whose character, upon further digging through interviews, is based on our favourite Hell's bane. The clothing is such a dead giveaway on his first appearance anyway? Y/Y?

Yeah I know. I'm not the first to write that connection. Maybe not even the first, thanks to timezone differences. I am sure that Hellblazer/Supernatural fans would have seen it!

Can I draw your attention here?

Yes, John, you are all things beautiful and everyone will worship you.

Let's zoom in on the face, okay?

Yes, bite that upperlip. No, really, what's with that face?

I guess maybe he was making this face? PENSIVE PENSIVE PENSIVE.

They both have some sort of smugness about them.

I really look forward to more scenes with Castiel. But it seems like the ongoing battle against the seals being opened is taking away his babysitting time with Dean.

tv: scrubs, hellblazer
