Warning: Spoilers from movie. SLASH. Unbeta-ed, but I sought out aingeal_isilme's help on some parts. Length: 666 words. XD Pairing: Lucifer/John Title: ( A Silver Platter )
It tastes like the best he ever had, and it tastes of triumph I like this. You have a Lucifer who's completely in control, who's the master of this situation, and you show it.
And after fifteen, Constantine became smarter, more shrewd, playing Lucifer and God against each other in their own game, and getting away with it; it wasn’t just luck anymore. I love the thought of Constantine doing this. It's sly and brilliant and Constantine at his best, really, tangling with Heaven and Hell and coming out tops at the same time.
How many souls had he lost since then because of John? I love the irony of this line. I love the thought of Lucifer thinking of the freed souls as lost souls, because they're lost to him.
But John, the adamant and arrogant troublemaker, got back onto his feet fast, and once too often found loopholes to release their cursed souls to heaven. I like it when you write John like this. Incredibly smart, and unbelievably cunning. And indomitable.
He doesn’t have to do much to have him within his grasp. I love that. Your Lucifer is one to whom things come easily, to whom nothing is impossible, and you have that.
he’ll show John why he truly belongs to hell as they immerse into sin after sin You made me want to see that!
Discovers that John still has a trump card up his sleeve. Fabulous way of ending the story. (For those who've seen the movie, that is.)
This is amazing. You've got a fantastic grasp of Lucifer's voice, and his jaded, knowing way of looking at the world. I never knew you could write Lucifer like this, and I'm glad I got to see it!
