Colorful Fruity Beverages

I've decided that I'm devoting my birthday party to colorful fruity beverages. Meaning I'm going to get all sorts of crazy mixers and things like blue curacao and green apple schnapps and pinapple juice and marachino cherries and I'm going to make all sorts of wacky pretty drinks. Of course, I don't actually know anything about mixing wacky pretty fruity drinks, so if anyone has brilliant ideas, favorite beverages, or recipes, I would be much obliged.

We had a party at Eden once where we found a (unopened) box of test tubes in the garage, so we cleaned them out and used them to put drinks in. We mixed up a drink for every color of the rainbow. We basically picked a colored additive and mixed it with one of the major basic alcohols. Red involved watermelon flavor and I think vodka and was yummy. Yellow might actually have been tequila and lemon juice. Blue involved gin and blue curacao and it was really deadly. Purple was sloe gin and not so good. The drinks looked so fabulous in their little test tubes, and sort of tempted you to try them all, which was dangerous. People got really drunk at that party. But it was super fun.

That's my fancy colored drink experience, but I don't think anyone wants to relive the horror that was purple, so I need a better plan than mixing at random. Of course, the standard Ft. Awesome bar will be available for those who don't appreciate the wacky and colorful. But I'm determined to have pretty drinks. There might be cocktail umbrellas involved.
