"Do you know what happened to the throat cultures on Saturday? No one ever showed them to Doctor O, and you told me one was negative."
"... I told you that one was negative?"
"Yes. I remember because a patient called."
I have no idea. I don't remember telling her this, nor do I remember even touching the cultures.... or maybe i gave them to someone to give to the doc, but I really don't know, that could have been any other monotonous day. I don't remember a patient calling about a throat culture on Saturday, but I'm not reliable because I know my memory sucks and I was feeling pretty sick that day as well.
I have no idea... well, whatever happened, I'll sure hear it by tomorrow...
I really hope the other girl knows what happened to them. Honestly, I feel like such an idiot; how could I not have checked to make sure they were done? Even if i didn't do them myself, it's our job to check on each other and make sure SOMEONE did it. ARG.
