In which Nesa misses something she hasn't lost just yet.

You know how weird this is? I'm planning to leave my job in a month. I've told nobody at work because I KNOW how word gets around in that place. Then again, maybe there'd be less panic this time around because we actually HAVE staff and they're actually cutting hours now. So I'll see how it goes when I give my two weeks in.

I was convinced I'd never get attached to that office, but somehow, it happened. Well, maybe not the management, and certainly not Certain Bitchy Receptionists That Shall Remain Nameless, but the other MA's. We just... I don't know. Everyone works so well together---I've got your back, you've got mine. It really is refreshing not to work with 15-year-old drama queens for once. Most of these people are older than I am and have kids and lives and experience, but they still are easy to talk to. I'm going to miss it.

I will also miss the eye-candy. :D And the "aww" and "squee" of watching a dad fail miserably at dressing his kid but still have the nerve to change a diaper. (NOTE TO FUTURE HUBBY: Throw out the chocolates and champagne. A drooling infant, a mismatching outfit, and a sackful of Huggies are all you need to win me over.)
