Caps!

I bring you 32 caps of Marple: Sleeping Murder (YAY DUCHESS OF MALFI) and Ballet Shoes (YAY MONOCLE)... the main character in both of which is played by Harriet Walter. At least, you know, inside my head. Yep.

'Cover her face; mine eyes dazzle...' )

Haha, I totally, TOTALLY require a maths tutor too. I tutored maths for a couple of years but I DO SO BOW DOWN to Dr Smith's Superious Wisdom & Fabulosity *happy sigh*... ohh yes, it does have a very little gold chain *stares at pictures again*. I may need to write a fic about her at some point.

And yes, Gemma totally looks possessed. In fact, I had some caps where she looked even scarier *brr* :P.

I was good at it, but I disliked it utterly and tutoring it was about the most boring experience of my lifetime :D. Oohhh, but yes, I would basically spend the entire lesson staring at her and nodding a lot.

Harriet, oh Harriet, oh Harriet, what doest thou do to me?

:D

Haha, yeah, I've been watching tons of the Miss Marple episodes the past week and mostly I find myself drawn between the crazed happy fangirl who loves all the pretty and the Agatha Christie geek who goes all "ZOMGSACRILEGE". Needless to say, the first one wins most of the time. This really was a very good episode, despite them messing around with the plot like whoa. Geraldine McEwan's Miss Marple is growing on me, too. She's just so aw and twinkly and adorable :D.

MONOCLE.

Dear God, she's so gorgeous. Only woman who could carry off a monocle with such delicious aplomb. She looks extremely gorgeous even without the monocle. And yey, cricket playing! *le sigh* I really am enamoured of Dr Smith. But she does kinda need a better "life partner" than Gemma Jones' Jakes. They're just not anywhere near equal in fabulousity.

And there was me thinking the Marple stuff would just be footage of her actually playing her RSC Duchess of Malfi, but I don't recognise that costume. But still, fabulous (and so graceful in death)!

I agree, she does need a more fabulous partner... hmm *thinks*... so, what other fandom should I crossover Ballet Shoes with :P? I do sort of want to write a fic featuring her... but who to ship her with... hmm.

Ah, no, the Marple stuff is actually pretty much her doing one scene on stage, but 'tis glorious anyways and she is, indeed, very graceful in her terribly dramatic death ;). I would so love to see her RSC Duchess.

Yey, I'd love it if you wrote a Dr Smith fic! However, my mind draws a blank with other fandoms to cross it over with. Wimsey-verse would be adorable, but you couldn't reeeally slash her with Harriet because Harriet is so very Peter's. Though her meeting Peter/The Wimseys somewhere would be adorabibble. You could just write some of Dr Smith's back story instead. How she ended up with Dr Jakes, or her inner thoughts of the book's events, etc. You've gotta read the book, because you should also totally write what happens when the two doctors lock themselves in their rooms near Christmas (they are in fact just making their rooms all festive, in case your mind was being typically rude ;P....as mine did when I read that scene). That has the potential to be so ridiculously adorable and funny ( ... )

Awww, yes, I should really make her meet the Wimseys, that'd be so amusing... backstory's a good idea too. I hope to read the book soon, in fact, I'm planning to have a look for it in town tomorrow. And yes, my mind was being itself again, thanks for explaining the complete innocence of 'making their rooms all festive' :P. Also, I'm ehm sort of going to sort of write a drabble where I ehm somehow slash her with Dr Constance Petersen, for 'typical' truly is my middle name.

I do so love how you have a huge archive of Harriet pics XD. Yay!

Okay, so that just made my life 10000 times better. I get back from class and the first thing I see is INGRID AND MARIA CALLAS TOGETHER XD! That's like... oh man, I can't even SAY what it's like. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I had not seen this yet and it makes me very very happy. I am ehm... not obsessive at all. No, okay, so I sound weird now but I did just have six hours of classes without so much as two minutes' break, so I get to be odd :D. Anyway, thanks!

And I am totally gonna attempt to icon that pic. Okay, so it is sort of bad quality, but really, it deserves an icon :D.

Well, it's not good to do something link icons, but two divas together, I think you'd like to see it.
