Ah, Sunday Spamday again, and this week I have only one topic, because I just had to spam you all with 25 lovely, lovely pics of the one and only LAURA ROSLIN. I have been on a BSG squeefest the entire week and I am on the verge of the best kind of heart attack imaginable. Sci-fi's MILF of a lifetime indeed.

I completely agree, she's like the only person ever ever ever who could forbid abortion and not get thwapped on the head by me for it... because... because... because... goodness *fangirl spasm* :P. She is such love, and just so ADORABLE and awesome and INTELLIGENT and fabulous.

Btw, I love Gaudy Night. I really, really, really, really do. It's one of those books I want to read all the time and at the same time don't want to read TOO fast because I just don't want it to be over. Thank you SO much for telling me about this book. SERIOUSLY :D.

Just as long as you remember that she so totally didn't want to ban abortion, and that abortions would look a tiny bit different in a society that's dwindlingin numbers. But YES, totally. Laura is a benovelent dictator, taking over the world because everybody just lets her because she is so PRETTY and COMPETENT and HOT. I heart her so much!!

I'm beyond thrilled to hear of your great love for Gaudy Night!!!! Out of all the Harriet Vane books, GN is THE best, but you should totally love all the others too. And I'll be interested to hear what it's like to read GN first, and then the books that came before it.

Oh, I know, in fact I found myself not really having any kind of strong reaction against the idea of banning abortion in those circumstances, which knowing how I get hotheaded about it about three times a week on average is quite astonishing :P. It's a completely different thing when your species is about to die out than it is in this world which is, um, already overpopulated anyway. I did love her for still not really wanting to ban abortions though... oh Laura ;). She needs to take over the world and do it now. Hell knows I'd help.

I shall, after having finished GN, very, very gladly read the others too... I can't wait, in fact. These books really are love.

Oh and btw, today I went to see Atonement in the cinema and I was probably the last person ever who didn't know Harriet was in it! I even saw CLIPS from the movie and it still didn't click, but oh how it did while I was watching it. I was all squeaky and yay :D.

oh wow, this picspam just made me so happy!! I'm well into bsg now! And it's partly down to you! I downloaded season 1 and I bought season 2 on the weekend and am currently on Home (part 1). I'm probably going to watch part 2 later and I'm totally excited because Adama just decided that he's going back to find the Pres and her fleet.

Am definately going to have to get me some bsg icons now.

Ahh, BSG icons... I shall soon do a mostly Roslin-themed icon dump, I think. I am so in love with this woman that it is completely ridiculous :P.

I've nearly finished season 2 and I am trying to keep myself from buying season 3 too soon, but I just know I will cave. I am SO glad you like it too :D!

Adama and Roslin are such love... and he really should make a move soon because um, how couldn't he (if he's not a gay eunuch)? Major shippiness ahead btw, soon they'll call each other Bill and Laura and get even cuter :D.

I knooow, it's so exciting. Btw, Laura is absolutely the prettiest ever in her flashbacks in 'Epiphanies'. Just saying. Ohh.

oooh, I can't wait!! I want to see the giggling episode!!! I did like the Lucy Lawless one, but Roslin wasn't in it much. Is that why people don't like it?
