Falling asleep at work...
So let's do a LJ entry! Haha! With the last few remaining minutes at work I'm about to pass out. Weird. I went to bed later last night than I did the day before yesterday but I'm much more awake today than yesterday.
I went to Borders yesterday and spent $30. It would have been $50 if I didn't have that $20 giftcard ^^ But I bought two hardback books, Shield's Arm (OMG!@!!@@!~!~) It's soo good! I love Sherwood Smith! I just love so many of the characters. I can gush forever about this xD Though it doesn't seem like the gay king will get the love her wants...though I'm starting to think with their reunion in this book that maybe he will be like, wtf I liked this dude?? Hah! I also bought Paper Towns by John Green. It looks like it'll be a good book so I can't wait to read that. Then I couldn't stop myself from buying a yaoi book xD So impuslive! I got to stop spending money but I just love books! I can't not buy books >_>
On a side note I'm totally psyched that imeem has a playlist of Jonathon Coulton songs. Rach and Mike showed me the WoW videos on youtube, and if you haven't seen them I suggest you do that...now...RIGHT NOW.............. Okay, now that you're back, a friend of mine randomly sent me the Re Your Brains video last night and I was like I should totally check if imeem has some songs so I can listen to them at work! And it does and it's pretty awesome :D
I'm trying to think of more things I want for chritmas >_< Mostly books. Laurel K Hamilton's A Lick of Frost is finally in paperback! I know it's going to be crap smut--but it has Frost in the title and for some reason I just love that emo bastard. Though I'm a werido and I've been waiting like three books for her to have sex with the two half goblin/half faye (oi! I typed "half fei" first :PPP ) But those brothers seem pretty awesome so yeah she needs to bang them. And Frost. But back to the main thing I'd ilke that. I'd like the latest Anita Blake Vampire Hunter book (even though I still haven't read the other two leading up to that book, I at least have them) And then I also want the Anita Blake Guilty Pleasures Volume. I bought like, the first half of paper comics but now they are all in a nice little book. You know...for me not liking Laurel K Hamilton much anymore I still own so much stuff. But even though it's awful and a bastardization of her work, I need to see what she's doing with the Anita Blake series, even though it'll be painful. Last time I reread the series I couldn't finish book 10 =( She has like 15 now.
I feel the urge to write something. I need to write something. I should when I go home. I should. I just hate starting stuff. I have awesome ideas/scenes in my head but I feel I need to build up to them to make them as awesome as I want but then I can't start all because I keep dwelling on those scenes. I just need to learn to write out of order xD I'm a chronological order freak but it's annoying xD
