Still Christmas for 6 minutes...

So I'm going to rant about how mine was shitty.

Christmas Eve: Worked 3:30pm - 8am on Christmas Day.
Christmas Day: Left work at 8:30am. Got home around 9:25am. KNOCKED OUT. Got up around 12:15pm. Got dressed. Went to go to Ralphs to get my co-worker Apple Cider. Ralphs was closed. Back-tracked to the train station. Train took forever. Then the bus took forever. THEN McDonalds was closed (wth?). Came to work... spent the day trying to find a ride home from work. Around 4pm my mom said she'd think about picking me up when I was off at midnight. After that she promptly turned off her phone. Around 7pm I started to call her to see if she had made up her mind about picking me up. Her phone was off. I tried texting and calling a bunch of other people for a ride, but, understandably they were busy (it is Christmas after all). So I started thinking that I might just tell my boss not to come in for overnight because I'd be stuck at work anyways and might as well get paid (overtime) for being here... oh, and when I say boss... I mean my boss' boss. I was THINKING about that but wasn't really serious because I'm so tired and I still have to work tomorrow... however, nearing 11pm my mom still hadn't gotten back to me and her phone was still off... and my boss' boss happened to call and see if anyone would cover the overnight shift for her... So, I thought, to hell with it and decided to work overnight. So, I'm stuck her 'til 8am... then I get to go home... and come back to work tomorrow at 3:30pm. Incidentally, to get to work at 3:30pm I usually leave my house a little before 1pm... So, We'll see if I'm even able to get 2 hours of sleep in the morning once I get home. I also REALLY need to take a shower because I haven't taken one since yesterday (Friday) morning. And I still have on the makeup that I put on then. -Sigh.- I feel like this'll be a long night. OH, and to add to this horridness, when my mom finally did get back to me (too little too late) I asked her if she's still planning on helping me move on Monday like she said that she would. She said that she's working Sunday - Wednesday... so, of course not. What did I expect though... it's not as if she ever follows through with ANYTHING she says she's gonna do. :/ All I've gotta say is that she'd better still be willing to go halve-sies on my computer with me or I'ma kill someone...

Now it's 12:04am... officially no longer Christmas. One more holiday 'til this horrid season of lonely-horribleness is over and then hopefully I can start fresh and awesome. Cross your fingers.
