Gratitude Project, Day 9
Having just looked at my book list for this fall, I'm grateful for the barter system -- or, if you prefer to look at it differently, gifts of gratitude. I spent a lot of time last term helping another student get her assignments to conform to APA standards and otherwise doing some editing for her. In exchange or gratitude -- I didn't bother to clarify that -- she gave me books, two of which are reducing my costs for this term by a total of about $150. If that isn't something to be grateful for, I don't know what is!
