The Pajama Diaries has fun with cliches :)
It's Monday, one of my favorite days! Tonight my little art gang gets together to doodle, tell jokes, talk shop and order sushi. I love my crew <3
I've been reading Ultimate X Men this morning. Comixology is having a one-day sale on the first fifty-three issues so I bought a bundle of them. I didn't realize how many of these I had bought when the issues first came out, years ago! The storyline is faintly familiar in that pleasant nostalgic way.
Mark Millar, along with his mentor Grant Morrison is one of the precious few writers who ever thought to bless Jean Grey with a personality. This first story arc "The Tomorrow People" hinges on Grey's participation.
Of course, Wolverine is a very interesting character in this iteration--probably second only to Bryan Singer and Hugh Jackman's filmic take on the character.
Last night, Dylan Horrocks posted this terrific watercolor on his twitter account. It's from his fantasy world that he's hard at work on. Looking forward to seeing more of this setting.
Last night, I was frantically looking up photos of mobile homes and trailer parks. It is a world that I am not very familiar with. I've driven past a few out in Western New York and I've been in converted trailer homes in South Carolina, but I've got no first hand experience in "trailer park life or culture.
I remain fascinated by human nests.
