Little Nell (or Nell Campbell) on the London stage production of RHS.
oh little nell..j'adore
I am trying to reproduce her above costume. It's turned out quite well so far. Perhaps I'll take pictures when its all done.
Anyways, we shall hopefully be taking in a local production of rocky horror this Friday at a local theater.
I haven't yet reserved the tickets so I hope to do so tomorrow when I know for sure that they are open.
Me and my sister will be going, and of course it is encouraged that we dress up.
I will no longer be a rhps virgin, and will have actually participated in a live production of it, and I'm rather excited.
You can also buy kits when you get there and their will be prizes to be won on behalf of costumes and such.
the only thing that bothered me is the fact that the woman who I had spoken to about the ticket prices, etc. told me they will not be
completely portraying the film version..by this I can slightly understand due to content they wouldn't be able to show in real life vs the movie but I also hope they stay true to it and don't butcher it.I'm worried because the two actors who portray brad and Janet don't look like the kind that will dress in lingerie ..and "Janet" is not only very brunette (let's hope she'll be wearing a wig) and also does not appear to be the kind of person to be felt up by rocky in front of an audience. So, I hope they do keep everything intact and don't censor it like I have feelings they may do.Or it really won't be worth the trip to Niagara Falls and the sixty dollars my sister will be paying for tickets ($30 each). It benefits Aid's Niagara though too which is another perk. I just hope this Halloween is a good one for a change.
Other then that, excuse my ugly layout for now. I don't know what happened but livejournal decided to delete all of my HTML used for my layout..and so now it looks like shit until I can put it all back together again..
Things have been a - ok regarding school. I have missed some school already though..and there have been issues which have given me second thoughts about staying in..but I am still with it. I also have plans to go to our awful school Halloween dance with a friend this Wednesday. Thursday is the class trip to Toronto ..to visit CBC, CityTV/Muchmusic, Second City and the Rivoli (where the kids in the hall first began their performances)..should be fun.I hope.
Other then that Roxy, my cat has been rather ill and I've been worried over her. It seems as though she may have been hit by something..such as a car..but she isn't severely hurt..at all actually. She is not visibly hurt but she has been lethargic and the one side of her body is swollen and she doesn't liked to be touched. She seems to be getting better and it is suspected she has some bruised ribs..but none of us know for sure. So, we will hopefully get her to the vet soon.
I spent the weekend watching rocky horror and poltergeist, then the e true Hollywood story on the curse of poltergeist. I watched poltergeist twice..it was on the tele. The first time after I finished watching it the cable went out and I was home alone and of course scared the hell out of me..but that's because I'm such a pansy..and the other time it was censored to hell so it was horrible, but my little brother enjoyed it.
Enough. I need to study for a massive test tomorrow, and I am thankful for daylight savings time for our extra hour.Other then that I apologize for being boring, and dull. I hope when this week is over I'll have something better to mention.
