Funny/Awkward Public Transportation Story:

So...I got on the bus to Harvard Square Station the other day, heading home after work, and this woman gets on. My CrazyRadar goes off immediately. This lady seemed slightly off her rocker, and keeps asking the girl in the seat next to her to hold her coffee while she situates herself and her backpack, so that she's sitting on one seat, with her leg on the seat between them. I'm sitting across with an empty seat between myself and another woman. At the next stop, these three bitches get on with one of their husbands. He was totally the My New Haircut guy, but in his thirties. They just stood at the front of the bus, right behind the yellow line, making old people and small children squeeze through them to get on/off the bus. There was plenty of standing/sitting room in the middle and back of the bus. A couple of stops later, the woman to my right gets off, and two of the bitches sit down. I was listening to my iPod, so I'm not really sure what was said, but Crazy Lady made some comment about how they were being rude and making it difficult for people to get on/off, and that it was nice of them to finally move. The bitches just look at her like she's crazy, even though she was right. When we finally get to the station, Crazy Lady gets up behind the bitches, and pours her coffee all down the back of one of them. The girl who had been sitting next to Crazy Lady looked absolutely shocked. I'm pretty sure my expression was the same. I was completely gobsmacked, flabbergasted, etc.... The woman that had the coffee down her back actually surprised me. I would have been freaking out, but she just turned to her and asked "Why would you do that?"

Crazy Lady: "Do what?" In a falsely innocent voice.
Bitch with coffee down her back: "You JUST poured your drink on me. Why did you do that?"
Crazy Lady: "Oh, did I? Oh! I'm so sorry!"

WTF is wrong with people?? To be honest, I was both amused and appalled by it. There truly isn't anything quite like public transportation.
