i've done it! i've fookin' done it!
I can't believe it! We just had a meeting about my project, in which we accumulated a total of 10 working days of delay. It's quite much, because the project ends in february next year, and there is no such thing as a penalty in case we are late: either we finish on time, or otherwise we receive no payment at all for the whole project! Mind you, the total length of the project is nearly ONE YEAR!
And what happened? No one asked why we are late, how we got here, who is responsible. They were interested in my plan of getting out of the situation, and they liked it. That's better than anything I could have hoped for. Now I REALLY have to prove my worth.
So, weekend is going to include writing some manuals for the intranet system we are developing for one of the biggest companies in the country. It doesn't matter, I had enough parties for the next months or so last weekend.
