great! I've got no job!
a bunch of Wendy's in the area closed down friday (thirteen to be exact) without giving people their checks, and said they'd be closed for the weekend. apparently it was because the guy who owned all the stores hadn't paid his taxes in a pretty long time and filed for bankruptcy.
it's so confusing -- THIRTEEN stores closed down! and I didn't get my check! and I HAVE CAR INSURANCE DUE TOMORROW AND I NEED A JOB. UGGGGH. I should've quit a long time ago. to be stuck in this situation now...!
well, there's Zach's going-away party today. I'm gonna miss him; he's a fun guy.
I'll leave you people with this thought: putting yourself first means putting your own needs before other people's, because they should be putting their own first and therefore taking care of them themselves. it DOES NOT mean putting your WHIMS before other people's NEEDS. putting yourself first is not selfishness or thoughtlessness. it's just taking care of what needs to be taken care of, and you can still be looking out for yourself while respecting and treating others right.
