update for all those concerned
I've been hearing through the grapevine that some of you have been asking after me. It warms my heart to know that I'm not forgotten after my hiatus. It's been a while, so here's an update:
My apartment was feng shuei'd last week and it looks great. It's really clean and chill, even though it's in a bad neighborhood. I've been working at Ticketmaster since I recovered from my septoplasty, and my job is a lot of fun. I've been going to rave parties and hanging at the university. I made amends with Tom and Charity and have been playing D&D Miniatures like a madman. I went off my meds (under supervision of my shrink) due to the side effects (lightning bolts shooting from the top of my head, vivid apocalyptic nightmares, etc..) and have been effexor-free for two days now. I feel great. I am also in love ;)
I was going to have a "friendship appreciation party" for all of my folks that stuck by me, gave me emotional support (or a kick in the ass), and let me mooch beers and weed through the hard times this past year. The plan was to buy a bunch of booze (the good stuff) and have an open bar at my place this friday, but I was sick for two weeks and missed a lot of work, so in favor of practicality, the F.A.P. must be postponed until the new year.
