(no subject)
For the first time in I don't know how many years i'm actually watching snow fall. I haven't just woken up to it but I watched it and then I ran outside and danced around.
I'm incredibly homesick at the moment. In 2 weeks it will make it a year since I left NZ. This in mind and with mixed emotions it seems like an odd time to announce that I plan on staying away longer than expected. I had planned to be back in May/June but, all going to plan, it won't be until December. And what's the plan? well i'm in the process of applying for a visa for Italy and have contacted a company in Rome regarding work. Then in November there are tenuous plans for Nina and I to go to Brazil for a couple of weeks then home for Christmas.
What is concrete and bringing me much warm fuzzies is what's happening in March. LCD Soundsystem on the 14th , AIR on the 16th and then off to Berlin for a week on the 21st where I will see fad-band-of-the-moment the Klaxons (and hopefully one of the most amazing, liberal, art drenched, exciting cities in the world.)
It gets to this point where I feel guilty for writing at work so bye for now.
