New adventures... lessee... Shadowland Lancaster and PURE. Ray and Lancaster itself. Gypsy and cats and having my dog Michelle living with me again. Driving..... OMG I'M FUCKING DRIVING!!! A CAR! WITH A LICENSE!!!

My son here, my eldest becoming a rather normal person (hope not for long!) my youngest having a child (I've now got an 11yrold granddaughter and a 2yrold grandson). I work at a restaurant in the evenings and teach ESL/Work Prep/Citizenship in the mornings - I'm a paraeducator, not the instructor herself, yet. I am hoping to apply to the Lancaster County Police Corp, as well as sign up to be a CNA - well, I never want to be a one trick pony, and just don't want to be bored - and yes, I was bored as only a secretary. I found challenges as a customer service rep, but I hate to sit for long periods of time and I FUCKING HATE A/C. btw, there's no a/c in my car. :)
My son is currently living with me.. I don't know for sure, but I hope he does follow through with joining some military thing, 'cause he needs to go away for a while for me to miss him again...
I am beginning to be more outspoken against the Jehovah's Witnesses. I found here a community of exJWs - apostates, ya'll! - but until my eldest grandchild is out of the grasp of my parents, I cannot be as bold as I wish because it will jeopardize my ability to talk to her (yes, that's how much power my parents have at this time).
I also found here in Lancaster people I met, and envied, back when I wasn't free, when every convention I went to (scifi conventions) showed me lives I wanted to live but couldn't because of the 'rents and their power over me and their kids. Now, I'm living the life I wanted to, and just waiting for the power over my grandkids to wane so that they also can be free.
I'm now friends and such with the people I used to envy, and am accepted for who and how and what and when I am (I haven't grown old yet, despite aging... ). dancers, gamers, geeks, wierdos, freaks... I love my life!
